Bailey is a lot of things.

~ a Ballerina. Bailey owns a bright pink 2-layered tutu that has sequins all over it and a pretty satin bow to tie around the waist.

~ a Soprano. With Cathrine playing the harmonica, Bailey can howl out any song in a crescendo and diminuendo fashion

~ a Dental Hygienist. Concerned with proper dental care, Bailey stocks up on greenies.  

~ an Honest Abby. Unlike Lucy, Bailey cannot be bribed with pupperonis or snausages.

~ a Belly Dancer. Just try sitting beside her and she will obligingly roll on her back and have you scratch her belly.

~ a Health Advocate. For dinner, Bailey likes her food, chopped boneless chicken breast, warmed up in the microwave and served with mini kibbles.

~ a Care Provider.  When Roxy was just a pup, Bailey took it upon herself to mother Roxy. Even nowadays, Roxy still playfully nibbles on Bailey’s ears like they are chew toys!

Recently, Bailey officially became official. She finally received her permanent tag from the county. Looking forward, she would like to apply for a US citizenship, a US passport and a PetsPerk card so she can take her two bestest girlfriends, Roxy and Lucy, shopping.

Foxy Roxy October 11, 2007

I was organizing my picture files and saw these pictures of Roxy when she was a year younger.  She was barely 8 weeks old when we first met her. She was small, from here                                                                            to here. She fitted perfectly in Ange’s palm. Her coat was, and still is, so dark and shiny.  

Roxy celebrates her birthday on May 1st. She is now a little over 2 years old. She has become an Olympian of some sort. She can jump from floor to the top of the couch back to the floor in 2 seconds flat or less; she can jump from chair to

chair and run around the coffee table over and over again and not lose footing, or worse, pass out from dizziness; she can even tame a bear with her bare teeth and chubby paws.  

Roxy loves to give very wet kisses and licks! You pick her up and you become the center of her relentless display of unconditional affection. She likes to be held so when you do pick her up, you better get yourself ready for some kissing and licking! 

When Roxy comes over to visit cousin Foofee, it is like a new adventure every time. She runs inside the house like Speedy Gonzalez, wags her tail like an unyielding metronome and heads for the food bowl tipping off Papa Rey to get another food bowl ready for Her Highness, Princess Roxy, from the Kingdom of Lickayoo!
